This whole week is set to be filled with gray days. I don’t hate it, but I certainly don’t love it. Sometimes I ask myself if I could really live in the Pacific Northwest, or Europe because we’re on day two of no sunshine here in Tulsa, and my quick answer to living in any rainy/dark environment is “ah, no” … (I NEED that sunlight!)
Regardless, I do appreciate these days because it seems to slow down life just a bit. It forces a simple moment of pause and appreciation. However, with that could cause extreme exhaustion and laziness with a wrap of unending naps, but we’ll disregard the negatives. Either way, this weather seems to cause relaxation (whether good or bad) and comfort. Perhaps, a couple spare seconds curled up on the sofa with your favorite blanket? I personally love throw blankets because they not only look great propped on a sofa or chair, but they are completely functional and welcome on chilly nights. I’m currently on the hunt for a throw blanket to snuggle under and bring life to our new home. Here are some of my top finds…which are your favorites? -ash
