This weekend was definitely one for the books.

I had been planning it for a little over a month now, and I posted all the behind-the-scenes on my snapchat (@ashleylsnyder) and periscope (@ashleylaurends)! With that, came a lot of questions about what exactly it was that I was doing, so, here it goes!

I’ve been meeting with other local creatives and small businesses to see if they would be interested in collaborating. Because, as you know, I love collaboration.

I really enjoy making other brands and small businesses known to the community, and essentially, to the nation + world (thank you, social media!).

It’s actually more than just a collaboration though… it’s a partnership.

This weekend, I partnered with Sophie of Joplin, Missouri, an insanely cute clothing and accessories boutique. I met with the owner, Ashley Wakefield, to see if this was something she would be interested in, and, obviously she said “YES!”

I really wanted to expose her Fall/Winter collection, and in turn, create a lot of incredible content on here for you guys!

I hired a ridiculously creative team to work alongside me:

Andy Lane, a videographer/previous owner of Airwave Productions

Lydiah Christine, with Lydi Christine Photo

Shaylea Brown, owner of & Company Eats, and overall GirlBoss/Art Director/Best Friend.

(Note: I will hire all of them full-time someday!)

I seriously could NOT have asked for a better team to work with. I told them in advance, that this was not all about me. This was everyone bringing their ideas and creativity to the table, too, and they did just that and so much more.

I wanted to make sure they were enjoying what they do best, and that it wasn’t just another shoot in their schedule. We all kept in mind the look and style of Sophie so that we could best represent the incredible company that it is.

All hands were on-deck and I really think we knocked it out of the park.

I can’t wait to share all the looks with you!

And, since I’m impatient and overly excited, here’s a sneak-peak at one of the looks!

I seriously need that shirt. How perfect would it be after a big Thanksgiving meal?

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend, and is in full preparation mode for the Holidays! Remember: Don’t stress yourself out. It’s just a turkey… It doesn’t need to be perfect (says the girl not preparing a turkey).   😉

More to come! xo
